Throughout my career, I have worked as a teacher in my own field at the University of Oulu. Through my research, I am well acquainted with the connections between general medicine and oral health. After specialising, I have continuously taken part in specialised dentist training as a clinical instructor. I actively provide further training in my own field.

In addition to my field of specialisation, I provide normal comprehensive care and preventive and sustaining oral health care. My specialities include, among others: treating occlusal problems related to loose teeth, tooth and gum surgery, gum transplants, aesthetic treatment and treatment of peri-implant inflammation. These treatments usually require cooperation with other specialised dentists and a dental hygienist. My extensive teaching and research experience offers me an insight into the connections between general health and dental diseases.
