Pirjo Jakama-Rahkonen

I am a basic care dentist with extensive experience. Ensuring each patient feels seen and taking them into account has always been important in my work. I aim to provide the patient with as much information as possible about their oral health and treatment options before making a treatment plan. After the necessary examinations, I prepare a treatment plan and discuss its implementation and scheduling with the patient.

I have a calm, unhurried approach to my work. I explain the procedure as the work progresses, take breaks if necessary and take the patient’s wishes into account where possible.

I have extensive experience treating patients with dental fear, with many grateful patients to show for it. I am also happy to treat children at my practice. If necessary, premedication can used to reduce anxiety. My goal is painless and smooth treatment.

I have maintained my professional skills through continuous training, and even though I have been working for a number of years now, I still enjoy my work and meeting and caring for people.
